Beware of Multi-Level Company Selling Gold Coins
April 23, 1997 -- The Better Business Bureau (BBB) of Metropolitan
Dallas reports that a Texas-based multi-level company selling gold
coins has been the subject of more than 2000 calls to the BBB from
prospective participants. Family of Eagles, Cedar Hills, Texas, was
formed in May , 1995, by Jerry O'Steen. Four complaints alleging
misrepresentation of the earnings potential and the refund policy have
been answered with explanations of the company's seven-day refund
policy. Two pending complaints allege failure to disclose the
company's markup on gold coins, and poor support to distributors. 

The Better Business Bureau advises consumers to call the BBB for a
reliability report before making a purchasing or investment decision
with regard to this or any multi-level marketing opportunity.
